"The radio was on the air tonight with the military group and they found it un believable. I can tell you it tunes with 15 watts power and it does produce 26.8 watts PEP output, the input power at 26VDC is 150 ma receive and 2.2 amps transmit. The receiver sensitivity is better then .22uV at 10 DB S+N/N very very good better then some of our American sets
The back light has 3 levels 1,2,3 corresponding to low medium and high The CW output is the same as the PEP output. The radio has VOGAD voice operated gain adjust. You can speak softly and change your voice level to loud and the radio still maintains the same relative output. Some radios call this whisper mode The radio accepts all U 229 US military accessories. The radio is spec ed to go from 9 to 32 volts.
