Made to replace the old radioactive radium dial and meter paints. This custom blended enamel paint contains a new generation of Phosphorescent (Glow in the Dark) material. This is not the old Zinc Sulfide based material that's commonly found in typical glow in the dark items. That cheap stuff only glows for about an hour after being exposed to light. Our new Phosphorescent paint is doped with Europium and Dysprosium rare earth oxides that give it a very long glow time of over 12 hours! Ordinary indoor lighting (incandescent or fluorescent) as well as sunlight can be used to charge up" the phosphorescent powders.
